Here you go, my favorite new items from the Spring/Summer

Close To My Heart Idea Book

1)      Workshops on the Go® Chantilly Card Making Kit(pg 22) - you always need birthday cards and this kit is perfect as you have 3 different designs times 5 cards of each design.

2)      Workshops on the Go® Canvas Art Kit(pg 23) - I haven’t purchased this one yet but it is on my wish list.

3)      Later Sk8r Paper Packet (pg 46) - I love the colors of this paper packet.  With 2 boys and many nephews this paper packet will get lots of use.

4)      Pink Glitter Gems(pg 120) – I love my gems and these will be perfect on cards and layouts.

5)      Green & Blue Epoxy Bubbles (pg 120) -  love these ones too

6)      Hollyhock Zipper Lace(pg 122) – I’m excited to use this on a scrapbook layout.

7)      Large Organizer with the Tabbed Dividers(pg 134) – this is also on my wish list and I will be very happy to my stuff nicely organized.

8)      Claire Paper Packet (pg 40) – another paper packet where I just love the colors.

9)      Workshops on the Go® For Always Cardmaking Kit – I’ve already purchased this one and I can’t wait to make the cards

10)  Paper Dolls(pg 42) – I loved paper dolls when I was growing up, so there are some sentimental reasons for me loving this stamp set.

Mojo Monday 275 - Birthday Card

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.  I'm trying to get back into the swing of things.  This year I'm going to try and make cards a bunch of cards ahead of time rather than waiting till the last minute.  For Mojo Monday 275 I decided to make a birthday card using the sketch.

Mojo Monday 246 - Happy Holidays Card

At the beginning of the month we moved to our own place and now I am way behind with my Christmas cards.  I should be still unpacking but decided making a card would be much more fun :)

I was going to use the current sketch but half my cord for the Cricut has disappeared, so I have decided to use an older sketch from Mojo Monday.

Mojo Monday 246 was designed by Mary Fish.

My Top 10 List of New Items for the Autumn/Winter 2012 Close To My Heart Idea Book

I had a hard time narrowing it down to 10 items since there were so many wonderful new items added.

1)  Studio J Express Collections (pg. 13) - 6 collections to make scrapbooking even faster – all you have to do is add your own pictures

2)  Cricut Artiste Collection (pg. 15) - can’t wait to get this collection. 

3)  Flakey Friends Stamp Set (pg. 87) - I love snowmen things, so this item was hard to resist, just so cute.

4)  Organizers (pg. 119) - always looking for new ways to organize all my scrapbooking stuff.

5)  Sparkles (pg. 127) - love my sparkles! They added three more: clear, brown and tan, and black and grey assortments.

6)  Make It From Your Heart Volume 1 (pg. 11) – some great ideas for cards and layouts, beautiful artwork featured.  I look forward to future volumes

7)  Pear & Partridge Card Making Kit – Workshop on the Go (pg. 66) – can’t wait to make my Christmas cards using this kit.

8)  Alcohol-based markers along with the Alcohol Blending Marker (pg. 9 & 133) – look forward to trying these out.

9)  Mini Pigment pad sets (pg. 9) – another item I look forward to trying out.

10)  Silver Shimmer Trim (pg. 124) – a fun item to add to embellish Christmas cards.
